Service Overview:
InsightHeart GO is a compassionate transportation initiative dedicated to helping
seniors (65+) and cancer patients reach essential destinations safely and free of charge.
Transportation Provided For:
- Medical appointments (hospitals, clinics, specialists)
- Grocery shopping and essential errands
- Pharmacy visits
- Health-related appointments
Service Details:
Distance: Free round trips up to 50 km from home
Advance Booking: Minimum 48 hours notice required
Service Hours: Weekdays, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Service Area: York Region, Scarborough, and Greater GTA
Eligibility Requirements:
- Age 65 years and older
- Reside within designated service area
- Non-emergency medical transportation needs
- Maximum 3 round trips per month per person
Booking Process:
- Call 437-900-0170 or email
Transportation@insightheart.ca - Schedule minimum 48 hours in advance
- Provide pickup/drop-off addresses
- Confirm appointment details and emergency contact
Safety Measures:
- Background-checked volunteer drivers
- Insurance coverage and safety protocols
- Health precautions including masking when required

Knowing that I made a positive change in someone’s life makes me very happy. Growing up, my dad showed me how not everyone has access to all the resources we do, so we should share our resources with the people who need them the most; this is why I joined InsightHeart. I am excited to be a part of a foundation that will change so many lives for the better.
